
HootSuite, the Vancouver-based creator of the social media management system of the same name, announced on Thursday it had secured $165 million in Series B funding, putting its valuation likely on the $1 billion-plus range.
Ryan Holmes (pictured), the company's CEO, declined to delineate a valuation for the company except to say, "I"m happy to be building a multi-billion-dollar company."
